When I open channel edit…I expect it to be where I last left it…but it always goes back to the screen where the project window is???
SO FRUSTRATING…this is what Im talking about…bugs and quirks. Does anybody know the solution to this?

If you open a Channel Editor of track A and put it to any place, the Channel Editor of track B could be in a different place. They are independent.
I would recommend that you use Workspaces to call the window layouts you set up.

Yes but this was happening on just the same track only for testing. Its also inconsistent, right now, if I open and move the window eg to the centre of the screen above, it stays there and does so for any track that I open which is expected behaviour.
If I open that window anywhere near the bottom corner (of the upper window) the glitch happens.
I use workspaces as central to my workflow but this happens if I open a fresh layout and try. Its repeatable.
