When I link together two or more channels, sometimes I move one and the other doesn’t move. Then I move it again and it does move but they are now at different levels.
Can anyone explain what’s going on - it happens a lot and it slows me down, especially when inputing automation
The Alt button (PC) will suspend all channel linking when pressed while moving a fader. On a mac, I assume it is the Option key? Are you somehow activating the suspend with those keys while you are automating?
This happened to me, turned out I had automation on the track that didn’t want to move. I linked 6 channels in a mix yesterday, worked as expected. john.
Two other things Timo (that really slow me down!) When tuning a vocal, if I split a note (with the scissors tool) sometimes the second half of the note disappears. I have to undo then if I split in the same place - it works fine!
Also, selecting channels on the mixer page - sometimes I have to click about 3 or more times for it to select. I know it’s small, but when you’re mixing 16 songs for a TV show and it has to be done ‘NOW’ it just slows the process
Other than that Nuendo is King! Rock solid and easy to use! (works really well under OSX Mavericks too, my processor activity has gone right down!!)
Seems to be that some plugins aren’t properly recalling their path; Reverence, for instance, will see the proper path when I recall a preset but no presets are in the folder that it opens when I try to save. I’ve reset prefs and permissions to no avail. John.
