Hi,
as in my other just posted topic (Needless-Srollbar issue), I have encountered an issue which occured in Cubase 12 (still in 12.0.70). Now I just checked with the newest 13.0.21 if they fixed it, but they didn’t, so I hope with your help I can find a solution or at least raise some attention of the dev team to fix this if their schedules allow:
Unfortunately, regardless of scaling, neither in Cubase nor in Windows, you always have to scroll to the sides in the “Channel overview” in the Mix Console.
As soon as you have more tracks than fit on the screen or set the track width so wide that not all tracks fit on the screen without scrolling (at the bottom of the tracks).
But then having to scroll in the channel overview, even though it is supposed to provide an overview in these cases and would still have easily enough space to display all tracks next to each other without scrolling, is strange and annoying.
In addition, the channel view becomes wider as the number of tracks increases. But it is always not wide enough, so that you still have to scroll for the last 5 or so tracks.
I already informed the support twice without any reaction, that’s why I’m writing here.
I will attach four screenshots, showing the problem, the first two of c12.0.70, the others from the current 13.0.21.
---- (in the first the channels are still visible on the far left, in the second the channel racks are scrolled to the far right and thus the first channels (more than 5) in the channel overview have disappeared from the far left side.)
