I notice that when I change the compressor type at the channel strip, the knobs that are in use are addressed in different slots for every compressor. I think it would more convenient to change that and adress at least the relative one at the same spot, e.g.: bypass slot1, input or threshold slot2, makeup gain or output slot3, ratio slot4 etc.

You can edit the order of the parameters in each plugin’s “Plug-in Remote Editor”. What I don’t know is if the new order is saved by project, globally, or at all.
Thanks for replying. Changing the order by using Plug-in Remote Editor affects the insert but not the strip parameters edition. That said, after editing insert parameters and close the editor, you are prompt to save layout and I believe this is a global option.
