I agree it’s a cheapo unit, but cost is a great leveler.
If it’s possible, how do I get my Elements 7 to recognise this interface unit so I can use my keyboard’s midi functions rather than only being able to record on audio tracks?
Any help would be appreciated.
Mark.

I used to use one of those outside the studio.
Just make sure it’s installed – plugged into the computer – before you start cubase.
Make sure the midi ‘IN’ cable goes to ‘OUT’ on your keyboard and ‘OUT’ to ‘IN’.
Then start cubase, play a few notes and see if any midi signal lights up on the transport bar.
If it does it’s all working and ready to use.

Thanks, TKW, I’ll give that a go.
