I found this plugin called TapeHead Saturator found here…

These guys make plugins for Pro Tools and recently created this in VST format. It’s AWESOME! They have a free demo that never expires with some features that don’t save when you close your project. Other than that, it’s a fully functional plugin that sounds great. It’s pretty inexpensive if you choose to purchase it.

…just my 2 cents, no, I don’t work for them. I just want to share this knowledge incase someone is looking for an inexpensive Tape Saturator that sounds really good.

The tape saturation built into C7 sounds great to me. Do you think this is better?

Well, I guess that depends on the material you are working on. At this inexpensive price, or free if you choose to keep using the demo (it never expires) you can’t go wrong and it’s nice to keep in your box of tools :slight_smile:

Thanks for the tip! I didn’t know that Massey inc. was releasing plugins in VST format. That is great!

I am a user of Slate digital VTM and Waves Kramer Tape, but a new option is always good!
