Hi all,
So I’ve followed a couple of tutorials to access the current buffer size.
Open a project / Studio Set Up / highlight Audio System (Steinberg ASIO Driver) / Click on Control Panel: but the pop up that opens is not the dialogue box shown in the tutorials (see photo) . And does not show the current buffering range to alter?
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
I would highly recommend to use the dedicated ASIO driver for the UR22C and NOT the Steinberg built-in ASIO driver! This will have a huge impact on latency and everything associated with it.

Also check for a firmware update for your audiointerface (Tools for UR-C) here.
Here’s a Steinberg tutorial on setting up an audiointerface that will answer your initial question because it highlights a UR series audiointerface which should depict setting windows similar to the ones you will see.
Thanks so much for that Reco29, really appreciated. I’ve downloaded the Driver and the firmware update for the interface. I’m now getting the correct pop up to allow me to alter the Buffering. I’ve been struggling to get a decent sound when recording guitar directly into the UR22C and I think it’s latency/buffering issues.

If the issue with your “sound” is that it is breaking up then buffer size is a prime suspect.
But if it is more like the audio quality is suffering, I’d make sure that you aren’t plugging your guitar directly into a line level input. This will cause an impedance mismatch. To go from a guitar signal to line level you need to use a direct box.
Sample Rate mismatch… Your settings and the cubase project all need to be set to the same SR.

I’ll open a new project and see if the amp rack works. If it does, how do I set the project to the same SR? Or does it mean starting again from scratch?
