My update: When I save and export the project as “archive”, in the old project some songs no longer have lyrics (the lyric track is still there, but it’s empty). In the new folder/project everything seems fine.
Another update: I imported a Media Project from Cubase with the chord track as a song ( I wil call it “SONG A”) and the chords were not displayed on Live Mods on my Ipad. I saved the project in a different folder, but I didn’t solve anything. I tried re-importing it again in the same project as a second song (I will call it “SONG B”), and SONG A was still without Chords on Live Mods, while on SONG B the chords could be seen!
So I deleted SONG B, saved the project and closed, and when I reopened it
everything was fine on SONG A
Alright. It’s been almost a year.
I am having a similar issue;
I copied a lyric track with right click and pasted it into a new project on a song. it worked fine, except no matter what i do, it doesn’t show on the ipad with live mod.
Which version u use now?

… I’ve tested with with “VST Live 2.1.31” and “VST Live Mods 1.1.67.106”. It works fine. Are you running the latest Mods version?

So yesterday after I posted I did extensive testing.
I am running a simple project with 4 songs. The songs have audio files and 1 midi file to automate my axe fx 3. After posting, I got crash after crash after crash after crash. This is on V 2.1.31.269. I also have v 1.1.67.106 of the vst live mods on my ipad. I can go in the lyric sheet, click the mouse a couple times, and then when I picj another song, it hangs, Almost every time. I reinstalled, I rebooted, ect. M1 mac mini. I ended up downgrading to 2.1.30 and it was rock solid, though the ipad still doesn’t show the pasted lyric track.
I just reinstalled 2.1.31 and it crashed within 45 seconds.
Can I send you the archive for testing? It crashed so many times that I went and downloaded the ableton live demo. I don’t wanna use ableton. I love vst live pro, but it’s gotta be solid before I can commit to it. I can’t have a crash on stage.
My trial is almost up.

I am very sorry to hear about crash experience. We don’t accept any crashes. So, let’s find out what is happening on your system.
That would be great. Please use the archive function. “Menu / File / Save Archive…” and select an empty folder. Then zip that folder and give the zip file to me. You can send me a PM, if you like. Maybe you can give me a short description what do I have to do to get it crashed?
It would also great if you give me your crash logs. The logs are saved here

You’ll have to trust that at 1:00 I got a beach ball that is still there now (10 minutes later)
… meanwhile @trixdropd has send me his project. We could analyse the problem and found the problem. It was a side-effect which was introduced between version 2.1.30 and 2.1.31 - sorry for that one.
It’s fixed now. Please grab the next Pre-Release coming this Friday and let us know your experience.
