Chord changes on a written-out solo

I wrote a big band chart for a local semi-pro band that has a couple of places for improv solo, one for Tenor Sax 1 and the other for Trpt 2. I originally put in slash regions with chord changes. A publisher has asked that I write out suggested solos for both, but I want the chord changes to show up also. Dorico doesn’t seem to want to show the changes. I highlight the spot for a chord change (e.g. G7) by hitting Shift-Q, type it into the popover box, hit Enter, and it doesn’t show up on the score. How can I get it to work the way I want it?

You can use Chord Symbol Regions to accomplish this. (Also handy when players have a written-out background line for a repeated solo section to cover when another soloist is improvising, you want to show suggested chord voicings for less experienced piano players, etc..)
