I’m running into an issue when using Chord Pads to trigger the PEACH arpeggiator plugin, which loads as a VST instrument (not an insert), and have that in turn trigger a synth (trying it with the Roland Cloud Jupiter 8 right now).
The issue is that I cannot figure out any way to “aim” the chord pads ONLY at PEACH and then have PEACH, in turn, trigger the Jupiter 8: in order to hear anything from it, the Jupiter 8’s track must be at least monitor-enabled or record armed. Well, then the Chord Pads trigger it AS WELL as PEACH.
Sure would be really, really nice if Chord Pads were more flexible and could be used exactly as if you were playing a MIDI keyboard, with routing more like Scaler does it. This would make these far more useful to me!
Anyone have any ideas I’m missing, or should this just be a feature request?
