Chord pad step insert advances an entire bar at a time regardless of grid or snap settings

When using step input on chord pads, the step indicator always advances to the start of next bar regardless of what the snap or grid settings for either chord pad or Cubase are set at. This also occurs when using the arrow keys to move the step indicator around the grid. Clicking in the middle of the grid and using the chord pads will create a chord where clicked, but then the step indicator advances to the start of the next bar.

Step input works according to snap and grid settings when used in a regular midi track.

I am using:
Windows 10 Home
Cubase Elements 13.0.21

This is still an issue in 13.0.41.

Hi,

We have Cubase 13.0.50 out, now. But I haven’t tested this one.

It is on the bar only.
My feeling is we have to write this as a feature request, not a bug report.
