Hi, as a beginner at this, if, after rambling on a keyboard or piano I find a chord which sounds ‘right’, but I do not know what it is, is there some way that Dorico can tell me ?
I do not expect that it can, but it could be useful
Shift-Q, play the chord, read the chord symbol that appears on the page.
Or if your keyboard isn’t actually connected to Dorico, get the chord onto a stave via your preferred method, select the whole chord (by clicking the stem) and look at the bottom of the main Dorico window - you’ll find a text description of the chord there.
