Chord Symbol Discrepancy

Dorico Elements 5.1.18- So I am transcribing an arrangement for a Jazz Quintet, and I transcribed the countermelodies the sax player improvised on the record, but I want the sax player reading my chart to have chords so they can improvise a countermelody if they wish. If I select “Show For All Instruments,” it shows the chords on the sax for the WHOLE chart, which I do not want as it interrupts the multi-bar rests. I currently have “Show In Chord Symbol and Slash Regions” selected, and this shows the chords for the solo section, but not for section F, which is where I want them to show. Is there a way to make this happen? I understand the convenience of the various settings in setup mode, but it makes intricate cases like this difficult to work with.

Below is a screenshot that helps to explain what I am trying to do.

In a similar vein, the chords interrupt the multi-bar rest in the guitar part. Is there a way to hide these chord symbols only for those 8 bars?

Apply a Chord Symbol Region at “Section F” and then they will show there as well.

I’m not sure what’s available in Elements, but in Pro I would just select the changes I wanted to hide and hit Hidden.

Alternatively, switch that Player to Show in Chord Symbol and Slash Regions, then apply Chord Symbol Regions to the places you want them to show.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
