Hi! I am moving from Finale to Dorico. Here is one of my XML files imported from Finale. I don’t know how to put chord symbols in my upper stave in score and tenor sax part . Thank you

It’s worth mentioning that “Show for All Instruments” is a bit confusing. It means show chord symbols in all instruments that particular player is holding, as a player can hold multiple instruments, and doesn’t mean show for all instruments in the score.

Yeah, it’s one of those weird instances where it makes perfect sense in context given that I just clicked on a player, but somehow my brain slips a gear…

Now, I have a chord symbols over the selected instrument but also it shows all over the multirests. Is it possible to remove those chord symbols?
Dorico doesn’t currently have an option to automatically hide chord symbols during rests, though it has certainly been requested before. At present, you have to approach this in the other direction: in Setup mode, right-click the player, and from the Chord Symbols submenu choose Show in Chord Symbol and Slash Regions.
Now chord symbols will only appear in the bars where a chord symbol region, or a slash region, is present.
