Chord symbol range selection not working in 6.2.30

In the “What’s New” documentation for Dorico 6, it was announced that chord symbols could now be selected as a range by clicking the first one and Shift-clicking the last one. As far as I remember, this also worked in at least one earlier 6.x version.

However, in Dorico 6.2.30 on macOS, this no longer seems to work. Was this an intentional change, or is it a regression?

Welcome to the forum, @kai.tietje.

I haven’t got the documentation in front of me to comment on but what I do is Cmd+click the second chord symbol and then press Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+A. This will select all the chord symbols between the two.

Oh, this works and is easy! Thank You, Daniel!!!

Shift-clicking works for me in 6.2.30 on Mac. Perhaps you could attach an example project in which this isn’t working for you?

Thank you for your reply, Richard. I’ve now noticed that it only affects a few documents, and mostly in Continuous View. Otherwise it works. I’ve attached a file with a short excerpt where it doesn’t work.

For Chordproblem.dorico (1,9 MB)

Works here with your file.

Ah, thanks - I can reproduce the problem. It’s something to do with the Instrument Filter in Galley View. We’ll take a look.
