So, on my next project I’m going to use chord symbols a lot. I’ve noticed that when selecting sections of music (to copy-paste) the chord symbols don’t get selected, meaning I have to go back, select just the chord symbols, then copypaste, which is horrendously inefficient. Is there a way to have chord symbols be selected along with notes, dynamics, etc?

Use the system track!
If you don’t know what it is : alt-t toggles it. You can use the grey rectangles to select bars, it will select all the visible items. Hope it helps!
@MarcLarcher But when “Select to End of Flow” is activated, the chords get deselected again. Is there a way to pre-configure the selection mode in a way that includes chord symbols always?

You should not have difficulty selecting a starting measure of the System Track and then SHIFT + Clicking the final measure of the flow rather than using Select To End Of Flow.
