Is there a way to have the number after a single chord be in parentheses, to show that it is optional? For example, I’d like to display:
Am(7)
to indicate that one can play Am, or optionally Am7.

I figured it out. Not sure why I was struggling with this. I created a single iteration custom chord symbol and then copy/pasted it to the places in the score that I needed it.
