Hi everyone
When I edit a chord symbol, let’s say C7, using the “Project Default Chord Symbol Appearances”, is there a way to make it default not just for C7, but for C#7, D7…, all of them?
Thank you

Unfortunately, not yet.
Ah ok, I thought I was missing something
Thank you
You absolutely can make a global change to the suffix in C7 that will be applied to C#7, D7, etc… Some suffix components you cannot, but that one is easy to do. What exactly are you trying to do?
Hi @FredGUnn
For example, when I type C9, I want C7(9) as a result.
So I did that, tweaking the heights, etc
But I’m not being able to make it a global change
Thank you
Oof, yeah, that’s one you’ll have to do for all roots, sorry!!! You can’t globally redefine the 9 to be 7(9) or else it will break things like #9 or b9 chords. I’ll double-check, but I don’t recall an Engraving Options for that formatting either.
Thank you
