Chord symbols always on top?

I cannot find the answer to this (probably simple) question: How can I ensure that chord symbols are always above the upper line of a score, regardless of changing instrumentation?

My situation is a piece for soloist and choir. There are some lines without the soloist, and I’d like to let the solo line out, but the pianist then needs the chord symbols to appear above the sopranos’ line instead. Is that possible?

Layout Options, Staves and Systems.

The reasoning for this setting being in layout options is, I assume, because the user might want this behavior to be different in different layouts.
