Chord symbols and fonts? I have a problem

Dear community!
I have a problem that I can’t solve. Can anyone give me a tip? The chord input doesn’t work like expected.
E.g.:
Chord input (shift-q): Bb7/d
Result in Petaluma, all Finale fonts, Golden Age, Leipzig, Leland: Bb7/D
Result in Bravura/Academico: B7D

Symbol # only exists in Petaluma (other fonts: C# is usually displayed as C)

Symbol # is often displayed as 16ba treble clef with b (no idea what the clef is called)

and so on …

It doesn’t seem to be possible to display correct chord symbols with Academico. I can’t find any errors in the settings.

Does anyone know where the error lies? Thanks in advance!

Check that you have Bravura text or Petaluma text under Library->Font Styles->Chord Symbol Music Text Font .

Thanks, Jesper!
Petaluma works. The problem is Bravura/Academico …
Bravura text is the chord symbol music text font. But the results are not correct.

Could you share a small example file? Also check that you don’t have multiple version of Bravura installed. On a Mac, there should be one in the main library->Fonts, but not in the user library->Fonts.

Thx!

Looks like this here. As I said, you probably have multiple versions of the Bravura fonts installed. On a Mac, check with Font Book. Keep the ones in the main Library (Macintosh HD->Library->Fonts). Remove under your user library->Fonts. Hold down the alt/opt key while selecting the Go menu in Finder to see the user library. For Windows, I don’t know.
