Chord symbols not appearing on slash region between staves

I had a search of the forum and didn’t find anything – am I correct in thinking this is a bug?

In engraving options I have set grand staff instruments to show chord symbols “Between staves”, and creating a slash region in the top staff of a piano does not cause the symbols to show unless I select “Above top staff”. It works correctly if I create a chord symbol region as well, and no matter which staff the chord symbol region is placed in.

I agree this would be better if it worked for slashes on either staff as it does with chord symbol regions, but the fix is so easy it doesn’t really bug me.
