I’m trying to show chord symbols on percussion parts (my drummer requested it). I turned chord symbols on for the parts I wanted. For some reason they start to show, for about 12 bars, then just stop showing for no apparent reason. The third bar (after the page break) has chord symbols similar two measures before it but they aren’t showing up. They stop showing for the rest of the piece.
Any idea what the problem is here?
It turns out the answer or work around for this appears to be to delete the chord changes that were previously inputted on the parts above the percussion parts then put them back in. After doing that chord changes do show up on the percussion parts. I’m not sure what happened or why that was necessary.
And oddly enough, you have to delete and replace the chord symbols in order from left to right for this to work. If you skip ahead it stops working.
