I created some custom chord symbols in project default chord symbol appearance (for example, I wanted ma7 instead of maj7), and now when I increase the font size for ‘chord symbols font’ and ‘chord symbals music text font’, the custom elements I’ve created don’t scale. Any idea what I’m missing?
I expect the issue is that when you were editing the appearance of the “ma” text in the chord symbol appearance editor, you didn’t choose Chord Symbol Font from the Style menu in the Text tab:
As such, it’s probably using a different font style for that “ma” part of the chord symbol.

I seem to recall this coming up before, and you saying that it’s not so simple to default to this, but if it has gotten easier for any reason, it would be great if this was the default choice, as that’s obviously what the user would want in this scenario.
