What’s the best way to manage the volume of the chord track playback?

I’m experimenting with building bass/melody lines on top of pre-defined chord progressions and I want the chord track to be ‘in the background’.

Currently I assign the chord track to a separate VST and wind down its master volume, which is just about OK until the volume of the main instruments changes significantly! Is there any way to change the volume of the chord track in Dorico rather than in the VST?

Yes: assign the chord track to its own channel in whatever playback device you’re using so that you can adjust its level in Dorico’s Mixer.
