Can I make chords appear on the top stave of the full score, but be visible across all my individual layouts that may not include the top stave (player)?
Here’s my problem. I’m writing for a multi-ensemble group, and I want to be able to output individual layouts for the directors for each of those groups, so I want those individual layouts to have the chords. For that reason, I enabled chords in the Setup tab for the top stave of each layout.
That means my full score (all ensembles) looks like this:
You can see that the chords appear over the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd staves, which is unnecessary; it would be sufficient for them to appear over the 1st only.
So I’d like to hide chords for the second and third staves in the full score (above), while keeping them visible in the individual parts. Here’s how the individual part for VA78 looks (and this is the way I’d like to keep it):
