I’m trying to route the Cubase click to my phones only, but it seems impossible. If I try to add a new “Phones” stereo bus, the possible device ports for the new device are Steinberg CI2-1 and Steinberg CI2-2. If I click for instance on Steinberg CI2-1 the dropdown menu suggests “Steinberg CI2-1 [Stereo Out - Left] [Phones - Left]” and “Steinberg CI2-2 [Stereo Out - Right] [Phones - Right]”.
So, it seems audio outputs are physically separate but virtually united. Am I missing something? An option in the ASIO driver, a tool or plugin…? Please don’t tell me this feature is impossible on the CI series, the soundcard looks shabby enough as it is…
