Circled check on desktop icons

I just updated to Cubase 11. On the desktop icons for Cubase and HALion Sonic SE. there are checks in the lower left side of their launch icons. The program runs and seems activated. Others like HALion 6, Spectral Layers and Download assist do not have this.

This does not address the display of a check mark on my desktop icon from what I can tell. I experience no spikes. Anyone else?
