Classical Music Mashup with 80+ pieces

I’ve never made one of these “look what I did” posts on this forum before, but I’m actually really eager to share this one with you. I wrote a mashup of Baroque, Classical, and Romantic-era pieces. It was made in Dorico using NP for playback. The video was put together using PowerPoint, incidentally.

I call it “The Maestro’s Mashup”. It’s written for concert band. I’m pleased with how it came out.

Very entertaining.

I’m quite surprised that your rendition using NotePerformer sounds quite different from what I am used to hearing.

Do you have some special settings that you apply?

No special settings. It’s just NP 5 out of the box on my end. What sort of sound are you typically getting/hearing?

Thank you!

Oh, that’s hard to describe - of course

I clicked your link before having read the full text, and my first thought was “interesting, what sound library is this?” :joy:

But maybe it’s only a matter of balance. I tend to reduce the saxophones quite a lot because they don’t sound too good (for a wind band context, that is), same with the trumpets..
