I have zero interest in using Claude et al for compositional tasks, but I did use Cowork to generate expression maps for the Orchestral Tools Berlin Series library. It worked very nicely for basic maps. I haven’t used it enough to know whether it could do more sophisticated maps but simply doing basic maps saves a lot of time. I can customize them to my liking, of course.
The chat felt like having my best teachers review my work and offer suggestions. Complimenting along the way. I was astounded by the depth and grasp Claude showed. What reason would I have not to pull up the shade, so to speak, and peer into a room of knowledge and insight?
