Clef change on right side of barline possible?

How do you get the clef on the right side of the barline? Using Elements so limited engraving options. Could not select clef in engrave mode. Tried the coda trick, but it completely separates the barline. And hidng the coda is … kludegy? I know Gould recommends putting clef to the left, but what if you want it on the right?

In Engrave mode, go into Note Spacing sub-mode.

Above the barline where the clef occurs, select the square edit handle then press Tab to move the selection down to the (smaller) round edit handle underneath. Use alt/opt+shift+ right arrow to move the clef to the right. You will probably want to move the note at the start of the bar by using the edit handles associated with the note (some experimentation might be necessary).

PS For moving in smaller increments, use only alt/opt+right arrow.
To undo a move, select the red edit handle and press Delete.

Thanks. I totally missed that little circle on the clef to select.

Seeing a system break in the purple is a little distracting but I guess it’s just labeling not part of the score.

It’s not just Gould; it’s one of the standard rules of engraving (since the change doesn’t occur in the middle of the bar)

Ah. Thanks. I’m just a lowly piano player. Never really thought in detail about notation until now.
