I started producing on Cubase long ago and then moved to Ableton and have come back to use both but primarily Cubase 9 these days. One feature that is really awesome about Ableton is that anything you click on in a channel, whether its native or in a plugin, shows up for easy automation on the automation selection lane. This would be so helpful in Cubase. Instead of having to enable R W and then hit play to do what should be as easy as one click. I don’t need to manually automate everything while playing I could just draw in certain small effects as needed.
Currently you have to click many times to open a folder and subfolders to manually choose certain items if you want to draw in without automating as it plays.
