Clone And Substitute Undo Problem

I have a problem with 9.1 and 9.0.35 I never had with 8.5 or earlier.

To reproduce:

  1. Load a wav file into a stereo montage.
  2. Make a small segment (about 5 seconds) in the middle of the file by making 2 splices.
  3. Clone and Substitute just the segment.
  4. Undo.

The 5 second segment is replaced by the entire file, not the previous 5 second un-cloned segment, like in 8.5 and earlier.

This is still happening in 9.5. Any idea when this could be fixed?

Also, is there a list of fixes and enhancements in 9.5 somewhere? I haven’t found a list.

Thanks PG. Maybe I’m the only one, but I use that function so often, including undo, that I’m on an earlier version until then.

As I use Clone & Substitute regularly, this bug has been a major problem. It is particularly vexing because you can’t Undo yourself back to a good condition! A much needed repair.
