Closing error of Dorico 6.2 on Windows 10

Hello everyone, I would like to report this issue: every time I close Dorico, this screen appears when I try to shut down my computer. I have updated the Focusrite ASIO drivers (3.27), but the system still detects the software as running even after it has been closed. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Thank you very much.

Dorico6.exe – Application Error

(Abbastanza Off-Topic, da un olandese che sa leggere l’italiano:) E’ vero che in Windows ‘read’ è un verbo che si usa così nella lingua di Dante?

(Quite off-topic, from a Dutchman who can read Italian:) Is it true that in Windows, ‘read’ is a verb that is used this way in the language of Dante?

I attach the ZIP file. The issue occurs when I shut down the PC, not when I close Dorico. I installed LoopMIDI a couple of weeks ago, and the problem appeared after updating to version 6.2.

If you uninstall loopMIDI again, does that prevent the crash on exit from occurring?

There are unfortunately no crash logs included in the diagnostics you’ve uploaded. I’m not sure how best to find any crash logs that might be created but lying around elsewhere on your system. Perhaps @Ulf can say.

Hi, I don’t know, but I know a way of telling the Windows Error Reporting System where to put dump files. Please have a look at this old posting of mine. At the end is a dump-config.zip attached. Download that, unzip and double click and it will change some values in the Windows Registry. If your system does not let you run that dump-config, then please manually execute the given steps 1 to 10.
Once you’ve done with either of them, run Dorico again and make it crash. After that open a FileExplorer window and into the address bar enter %LOCALAPPDATA%/ChrashDumps and press return. There you should find at least one Dorico dump file. Please zip it up and post here.

Hi Ulf, I ran the dump-config without any issues. I triggered a crash, but today’s error is not present in the files. I searched for the folder C:\Users\Utente\AppData\Local\CrashDumps and copied all the files there. I’m attaching the Dorico diagnostics and the requested files.
