let’s say that i have one of the CMC FD faders set at 75% and then i touch it at the 25% spot. will the volume of that fader suddenly JUMP to 25% or will my finger simply just “take control” of the 75% volume level at that point?
The CMC FD has two modes of operation catch and jump. Catch mode works exactly as you describe where the value will not be changed until it reaches its current value. This is the default mode. The unit can also be switched into jump mode where the value jumps to whatever value selected on the FD unit without the need to “catch” the current value.
