Hello,

I am having an issue with Collisions with fingering and 8va sign?

Does anyone have some thoughts to avoid this.

I have my position of fingering set to this:

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Dorico’s not perfect! You could try raising octave lines globally from within Engraving Options > Octave Lines, but that may have other knock-on effects elsewhere in the score. You may be better off just grabbing the octave line in Engrave mode and nudging it upwards a little.

Yes I just decided to go straight to engraving mode and fiddle with the layout of some fingerings… But Dorico is proving to be a seriously robust program so I am happy to make these small adjustments now and then!
