I know i mentioned this to Greg Ondo, but i thought i’d add this to the list. Greg wasn’t able to find a way to do this so it would be wonderful to have it in a future version.
With clients, i find it much easier to tell them that Take 1 is green, Take 2 is yellow and Take 3 is red, or whatever color. That way when comping, they just say i like the yellow first line in verse 2, for example. I noticed when recording more than one Take, that they are all the same color based upon the track’s assigned color. Its just a bit tedious to manual have to color the takes each time. So, if there were a preference to +1 color on successive takes or passes. Or a way to assign specific colors to incremental takes, that would be great!
