Color items only displaying in black

I selected a To Coda marking, went to the bottom “Common” popup window, selected a color for the marking to display, but the marking is still displaying only in black. There does not seem to be anything in the View>Notes And Rest Colors menu options about displaying object X color. Am I missing something?

You can change the color of the To Coda by changing the foreground color of the Repeat Marker Jumps paragraph style, but this will affect all repeat marker jumps in the project.

I don’t know why the Color property isn’t applied here.
