Color Lock

RUNNING WIN 7,i7, CUBASE 6 64, 28 GB, KONTAKT4, ENS PRO 5, RME 400

Is there any way to lock the track colors (without locking all of the rest of the functions of a track) once they’re assigned in the Inspector, Event List, VST Instrument Stereo Outputs et el?
I find that whenever I need to create another shade of color using the"'Project Color" box as soon as click on " Save ( or load) Program Defaults to Current Set"
all of the colors throught the entire project are changed.
Thanks again in advance

Select the last color (bottom) and insert. If you use the last color, srlect the new color (duplicate of the last), pick a new color and insert. The duplicate will be a dummy/placeholder to insert before. We should be able to just add a new color to the end of the pallet, but Cubase can only insert before.

Cubase really needs better color management, or at least multiple columns to save the slow scroll to the bottom with large color pallets like mine.

It is frustrating to lose a whole project’s color coding just because we inserted one color into the pallet.

CSD, thanks . And Agreed aboutthe color problems. Maybe in another edition—
