I’m editing an audio book read by the author. As it’s not a professional VO talent, I have about 500 edits in the 10 hour recording. To keep things straight, I colored each of the clips before I would drag them into the final track where I was assembling all of these takes. With 16 different colors, I’d simply cycle back around many times but if I was in the general area, I could ID the clip form it’s color.
To my disappointment today, when I would remove a clip from a track, the next clip would take on the color of the deleted clip. So much for keeping track of things. I don’t see a reason why you would want I to change so my guess is that it is a bug.
