Color Scheme Settings N15

Why weren’t the color settings carried over from N14? At least there you could see where things were headed in terms of color.

But with Nuendo 15, it’s like flying blind. What’s the deal? Or am I missing something?

P.S.

Or rather, I just noticed that when you move the sliders, the color of the selection box changes. It’s something, but it’s still a bit underwhelming. I thought it was much more user-friendly before.

Steinberg’s genius has never extended to its color scheme. With every change from one version to the next, it’s another disaster, another blunder, another faux pas. Everyone has their own cross to bear. While we wait for the next disaster, we just make do.

I´m missing the Hue-Slider in most of the options in the User Interface-General Colors
For Example no hue-slider in the Project Colors and Editor Colors section:

Hue Silder only in Custom Colosr section:

And in the last three of the Ruler Colors section:

Anyone else?

This new color UI is really bad. I can’t even match my color settings by typing in the values from my “Project Color Setup…” (which retains the old UI and values from Nuendo 14). I pray that they don’t change the “Project Color Setup” to this new UI/values. It’s impossible to dial in the exact color I want. It’s like they have two separate teams working on the color UI who aren’t talking to each other.

Haven’t upgraded to N15 yet, but I agree that this looks like a real downgrade! Very puzzling. Hope it doesn’t stay this way for long.

I don’t get it. Instead of fixing important stuf that several people report being broken for ages, at each update they seem to make changes to stuff that were working before and no one complained about.

The color tools are visibly a downgrade. The previous one was like the universal interface for color setups, and now this simplified version where you can’t type, you can’t compare… For what?

Yep, had the same idea, and can confirm it

It’s wild…I thought the color implementation in N14 was one of the best I had ever seen (along with FL Studio). Why on earth would they make it diametrically worse? I have to change the color for each track manually from my default color palette. Thank God my “Project Colors Setup” was unaffected by the upgrade.
