Colored note heads like in the finale.

Is that possible?

There is a “FigureNotes” noteheads set (in the “Pitched” Category), which will use a different colour for each pitch, if you want.

If you want different colours, you’ll have to adjust the noteheads in the notehead set editor.

The easiest would be to google it.

you can choose the notehead set from the right-click menu. You can edit it from library->Notehead Sets

And how do I set the default heads to be colored when creating a new project? Is it only possible by changing the ones already entered?

You can duplicate (the plus in the square) the Figurenotes Notheads set and give the new set different colours.

Or, if you edit the factory set and hit the star button your edited version will be the one used in future projects
