Dorico already has support for colored fonts according to this.
Good luck with your request. I would just point out that the comparison is not really relevant, since Dorico is developed using different tools (with different advantages and limitations) than Cubase.

Here’s a funny thing.
It turns out that Cubase 10.5 has support for colored fonts, while 11 and 12 don’t.
The glyph even shows up in the printed PDF file!
Actually, 11 and 12 also support colored fonts, but the actual colors show up only in the PDF file…
