Colored text turns black in additional score layout

Hi!

I often use colored text for annotations in my score.
When I create an additional score layout, somehow all these annotations turn black.

Is there a reason for it?

How are you entering the text (staff text, system text, etc.), and how are you setting the color?

I use staff text (CMD+X) and change the color in the properties panel.

There was a problem with color that was fixed recently. What Dorico version do you have?

If this was a Local property change, then it won’t apply to other layouts.

Select the text and use Propagate Properties to … propagate the property to the other layouts.

I’d recommend setting the colour in the Paragraph Style, even if it means several styles in different colours. Then it’s easier to change.

Isn’t that key-combo SHIFT + X for staff text?

Paragraph styles is an excellent idea, also added the feature to not avoiding collisions.
