Coloring sections of music

Hi. I am new to Dorico [ver 5.1.80] and I am in the process of writing out a lead sheet for band members to play along with. I just want the chords and slash marks. Nothing Fancy. I’ve done that. However, I do want to have different colors for the Intro/verse/ chorus/bridge parts. For example, bars 1-4 is the intro. If I highlight these bars, what can I use to have this in a color other then black. Thanks

Slash regions don’t have a Color property, I think.
You can export as SVG from Print mode > Graphics, then open your file in Inkscape (free on macOS), ungroup, and then select and colorise what you want:

I am in windows but I can export in whatever graphics format and use a graphics editor. I came from Sibelius, where you could color within the program itself. Thanks

In Dorico you find the Color property in the Common section of the Properties panel (but not all items support color change).

You can create a Slash Voice without stems (instead of slash regions), and so you can colorise both Chords Symbols and slashes, using the Color Property:

EDIT: to create slash voices you can also do it from the caret: activate note input (the caret) and click Shift+Alt(Option)+V until the little note icon near the caret shows what you want.

Got it. Your video is really helpful. Thanks
