Colors Feature Request

Hi!
I’ve been a Cubase user for over 10 years, love it - don’t think I’ll ever change it (believe me I tried…)
anyway, I was thinking about what feature updates could be nice to have in Cubase 14
so here’s my wish list:

  1. color shades as default - I believe most users will agree the default colors are not enough and it’s too tedious to create shades - even though you can download a template project with color shades and set its colors as default it would be nice to have this already implemented as default.

  2. add AI midi to vocal - these days many AI daws can do that, and it can be cool to have that implemented in Cubase

  3. AI tools - can be nice to have AI eq that analyzes 2 signals and then removes clashing frequencies from a selected track

  4. groove agent as ARA (lower zone area) - I think it can be a better option than now.
with menus on the left side and the groove in the middle

IMO, maybe the default is too basic. But I think the expectation is that the user either create or find a color set that satisfies. If you go very far beyond these basic colors, I’m not confident you would reach increased user satisfaction. Some would say not enough contrast, others would say don’t look “pastel” enough. Others would complain of too many or too few colors.

Iro was one of the first that certainly satisfied myself. But that was well before a feature upgrade several versions ago. Other free color packages include iirc 300 colors which I find is too many. There is a very nice pastel bundle somewhere out there. Chris Selim has one that works well for me.

Same here with Chris Selim´s preset. Just the right amount of options not to get lost in details. Of course, a matter of personal taste.

for me, the default colors are not enough
here’s another feature request -
drag and drop an effect from the right zone on the grid based on the track’s row and it will be in that tracks’ inserts - rather than drag and drop it the track itself.
its a long way to just load an effect, the usual insert list is much faster so there’s not much logic in having this features that doesn’t make it easier for the user.

They have done that with Omnivocal
