I previously reported an issue with the colors that developers quickly fixed in an update, but now I have found another issue with this specific combination of colors:
Here I am selecting a dot of an automation line, but the color of the dot/point didn’t change, so you can’t see which points you are selecting in the Project Editor.
They should change and look like the dots of the Midi events, as you can see in the MIDI editor:
If you mean the one automation point in the center, I can see though that the color filling changed to black, as opposed to the other points, which are gray.
I agree though that the contrast between the black and the gray make it visually more difficult to differentiate between them than in the CC lanes. In C14, the automation points were also white and black and clearly distinguishable.
Why someone felt the need to change that is a good question…
