Colors of Folders CB14 vs CB15 (Solved)

*Solved by re-installing CB15.

see the pic & the top ‘Synths’ folder- CB14 left / CB15 right

When I move a folder in CB14 the colors stay the same as selected. (grey folder w/ yellow tracks)

When I move a folder.in CB15 the color of the folder & tracks all change to black..

Is this expected behavior now or am I missing a setting?

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have that selected in both 14 & 15 but 15 doesn’t keep the color choices if I move the folder into a main

heading. It only keeps the colors when moving within sub folders. Is this correct? Like I said 14 works as expected..

You should change it to “Never”. Also, this option was not present in C14.

Also: You meant “move” as in “move tracks into”, right? Not just select and change the position of the folder within the track list?

I re-installed 15 & it’s working now but its still strange why it was happening with the same settings. I’m noticing a few other oddball quirks with this release but for the upcoming updates Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

lol, I was opening a project in CB15 & went to the kitchen while it did. All of a sudden I’m hearing music, went back to my studio & the project had started playing on it’s own!..never had that happen before in any daw

Maybe the new AI vocalist has written a bunch of lyrics and wanted to try them out before showing them to you.
