Pro Tool and Logic have a facility for this. Cubase does not, unless you count render in place. I’d like to be able to merge corresponding events on two adjacent mono tracks to become stereo events. So if I have, say, 10 files recorded on Overhead Left channel, and 10 corresponding ones on Overhead Right channel (yes, people still export from PT in that way, even though it handles interleaved…) I can, with one keystroke end up with 10 stereo Overhead files. Even Wavelab can only do this one pair at a time - I’d settle for having this as a batch convert option!
