BUG: When Combine Selection Tools is engaged, it is possible to move crossfades independently for audio tracks in a folder in Group Editing mode.

Repro:

  1. Turn on Group Editing and Combine Selection Tools
  2. Split one of the events in a folder with audio tracks
  3. Select the area around the split and apply a crossfade.
  4. Move a crossfade by dragging.

I tried on macOS 15, and I cannot replicate the issue on my side.

On MacOS 26.1. (The same on Sequoia.)

There is something wrong on this, you don’t even see the Folder event. :thinking:

This is just a visibility setting for folder events.

Hi,

Oh, I see the bug now. It’s not related to the Combine Selection Tools. I can replicate it even with the Object Selection Tool if the crossfades have been created independently.

In my case, all crossfades have been created at the same time, since the range selection is applied to all tracks in the folder with Group Editing on.
