Thanks, Dan. But I don’t have that option. Also, do I need to select anything in the upper staff before Paste Special? Do I need to have the lower voice stems down before I copy them?

The problem is solved. I missed the part about:
Select the staff to which you want to paste the notes, at the position where you want the selection to start.
